John Foulkes is a​​​​​​ Legislative Issue Manager. Before joining Stateside, John gained experience in policy analysis working for three years with The Jamestown Foundation, a premier foreign policy research and analysis institute based in Washington, DC. John graduated with distinction from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, earning a B.A. in Peace, War and Defense Studies, and Asian Studies. When not at work, John enjoys reading, cooking, and outdoor activities, such as hiking and kayaking.
