Ian is a Legislative Issue Manager, Energy and Environment. Prior to working at Stateside, he worked for a Hybrid PAC called Progressive Turnout Project, working to increase voter turnout in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina during the 2020 election. After this, he spent a year in Italy finishing his MA as a part of James Madison University’s European Union Policy Study program. His focus was on environmental, social, and economic policy with a focus on reducing emissions in the maritime shipping sector. In his free time, he enjoys reading, jogging, hiking, and photographing urban environments.
