Olivia Nicholson is a Legislative Policy Analyst. Prior to joining Stateside, she worked as a science journalist for the Diamondback and on a freelance basis, gaining experience transforming complex topics into easy reading. She graduated from the University of Maryland College Park with a Bachelor of Science in biology and is currently working on a Master of Arts in science writing at Johns Hopkins University. In her free time, Olivia enjoys reading, drawing, and niche video games.
