Abigail “Abby” Dent  is an Associate in Stateside’s Regulatory Services Division. She was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Law and Justice from Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington. She later completed a master’s degree in Coastal and Ocean Policy at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where she focused her capstone project on job security and the economic impacts of the offshore wind industry through a comprehensive cost-effectiveness analysis.

Before joining Stateside, Abby interned with the Southeastern Wind Coalition and served as a Sea Turtle Intern at Fort Fisher State Recreation Area. She has a strong interest in coastal and energy-related issues. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, running, and watching football.
