Stateside is continuing to invest heavily in the policy professionals behind our state and local monitoring and the depth and speed of the technology they use. Today, we’re taking another major step forward: Mark Pennypacker has joined our leadership team as Head of Information Services.
In this role, Mark will lead our legislative, regulatory, and local policy research teams, overseeing the people and tech that power our monitoring services.
Mark brings nearly two decades of leadership at the intersection of policy and government relations technology. He spent over 16 years at The Soft Edge—ultimately serving as President—where he directed product strategy, software development, and client operations. Most recently, as founder of Legislature Labs, he advised advocacy organizations and associations on legislative intelligence and modern data strategy.
At Stateside, our goal has always been to pair human policy expertise with modern tools. Working closely with our research teams and our technology partners, Mark will spearhead the next evolution of our proprietary platform, StateLink Connect—bringing sharper tools, faster alerts, and deeper data integration to your workflow.
