Stateside takes a unique approach to information services by using human expertise to review, analyze and synthesize the information gathered by our proprietary technology platform. This ensures that we are always providing you with the most relevant and accurate results related to your identified issues and interests.
StateLink’s functionality was recently upgraded to add enhancements to benefit the user experience. The specifics of the changes are outlined below:
What changes were made to StateLink?
The changes to your monitoring experience impact Issues and Alerts and are implemented across all three monitoring and tracking services: Legislative, Regulatory and Local.
Issues
- “Issues” has been replaced with a new interactive tagging feature known as “Interests” in categories, sub-categories and topics.
- Your Issues have been seamlessly transformed into a well-organized 3-tier tagging system of Interests. When you log in, you will find a categorized list of relevant bills conveniently displayed on the landing page, making navigation effortless.
- The new 3-tier bill tagging system ensures more precise and comprehensive search results across multiple categories, subcategories, and specific topics. This advanced tagging system enables precise categorization for better organization and retrieval of Interests and Bill Detail in Advanced Search.
Alerts
- The formatting of the alerts has been updated for easier readability on desktop and mobile devices and for quicker navigation when using the platform.
- Your existing alert preferences and delivery schedule are preserved – no interruption will occur, and no action is needed on your part.
- The improved 3-tier tagging system also enhances your alert preferences. To ensure accurate and timely notifications, you can set your alert preferences with greater precision, tailored to your specific needs.
- As always, you can request the frequency with which you receive alerts – in real time or batched at a cadence of your preference.
- A self-service feature has been added so you can set your own interests and control your own alert schedule. If you are interested in learning more, please contact support@statelink.com or Stephanie Reich at sr@stateside.com.
