In mid-2025, Stateside entered a partnership with Leadership Connect, a technology firm known for their government affairs connections system. This partnership, specific to monitoring services only, brings Leadership Connect’s technology expertise to rebuild a new platform on which we will compile the monitoring results for you.
Stateside’s analysts will continue to read, analyze and synthesize the monitoring results into customized summaries with accurate tags for your portal. Alerts can be still delivered at a schedule that works for you, individually or in bulk as you prefer. Additionally, we will continue to provide critical hearing alerts so you are aware of opportunities to engage or to follow the activity at important meetings.
The partnership between Stateside Associates and Leadership Connect will enhance the delivery of our monitoring results while keeping the unrivaled features that you value most.
What’s new:
Security – easier login: We have created accounts for current StateLink users to access the new system. For enhanced security and protection against risks of using traditional passwords, StateLink Connect will use a more advanced credentialing process.
- When logging into StateLink Connect, a numeric code will be sent to the email address associated with your account.
- Upon activating the code and logging in, the system will recognize you and keep you logged into StateLink Connect for 30 days.
- If you prefer to log in using a password, email clientsupport@stateside.com to request one.
Faster alert delivery*: If you opt in, you will receive alerts as soon as the bill is processed in our system.
- The alert will be delivered to you with a notification that the customized summary is pending.
- To prioritize the customized summary for a certain bill, you can reply to the alert and the Legislative Issue Manager will promptly prepare the summary.
- Summaries for alerts not requested for prioritization will be completed in order and updated in the system.
- *Currently available for legislative monitoring only.
Tagging system: In the new platform, the same bill tag will be used by both clients and our internal team, eliminating confusion and speeding up the delivery of alerts.
- You are still able to name your priority tags and use those tags to code, organize and sort your records.
- Please contact us if you would like a report showing the crosswalk details of your previous customized tags to the new tagging system.
