Abbie Laugtug is a seasoned government affairs strategist with more than 20 years of experience navigating complex state, federal, and international policy environments at the intersection of energy, infrastructure, and technology. She specializes in translating emerging policy risks into actionable engagement strategies, building durable coalitions, and working directly with governors’ offices, legislatures, and regulatory agencies to influence outcomes on issues in Western and Midwestern states.

Abbie’s career spans senior roles in the private sector, federal government, trade associations, and international development, where she has protected and advanced organizational objectives in highly regulated and politically complex environments. 

Abbie has led public policy strategy for organizations including Invenergy, USAID’s Power Africa initiative, Bloom Energy, the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association, Oregon Business & Industry Association and UCB Pharma.
