Rebecca is a Legislative Coordinator and Canadian Research Assistant in the Legislative Division. Before coming to Stateside, Rebecca gained experience by working in the Department of Economic Development for the City of Hartford. During her time there she assisted the Housing Department with projects pertaining to community development, neighborhood revitalization, and local business growth. While studying abroad in Vienna, Austria, Rebecca researched violent extremism occurring in developing countries as an intern for the NGO Women Without Borders. Rebecca graduated summa cum laude from Trinity College, where she double majored in Public Policy & Law and Urban Studies. During her time at Trinity, Rebecca spent several semesters as a Research Assistant for the Center for Urban and Global Studies. For one of her independent research projects, she spent a summer studying the traditional housing units of Shanghai, China. When not at work, Rebecca enjoys watching films, painting, and finding new types of food to try.
