State Legislative Races Overview

Republicans Outperform:  Republicans successfully defended majorities in Democratic-targeted chambers, including the Arizona House and Senate, Iowa House, Minnesota Senate, North Carolina House and Senate, Pennsylvania House and Senate and the Texas HouseIn addition, Republicans have flipped the New Hampshire House and Senate.  Republicans have also secured the numerical majority in the Alaska House, however, lawmakers must meet to determine leadership make-up which will determine control of the chamber.
