Georgia Legislature- The House remains under Republican control as they now hold 116 seats out of 180. Republicans also control the Senate with 36 seats. There are no more vacancies in the House or Senate.
Louisiana Legislature- The House of Representatives remains under Republican control as they now hold 58 out of 105 seats. Republicans gained 2 seats in the Senate, which keeps them in control with 24 out of 39 seats.
Mississippi Legislature- The Senate remains under Republican control with 31 out of the 52 total seats. In the House of Representatives Republicans hold 64 of the total 122 House Districts. Some Legislative race results still to be finalized.
Virginia Legislature- Republicans gained two seats to bring chamber control to a tie that can be broken by Bill Bolling (R) the Lt. Governor. Some races may face a recount.
Ohio Ballot Measure- Issue 3 passed allowing Ohioans to purchase their own health care coverage and to opt-out of ACA mandates. Issue 2 passed to repeal the collective bargaining reform provisions of Senate Bill 5.
Mississippi Statewide- Phil Bryant (R) was elected Governor. Tate Reeves (R) was elected Lt. Governor. Jim Hood (D) was re-elected Attorney General.
Kentucky Statewide- Steve Beshear (D) re-elected Governor. Jerry Abramson (D) elected Lt. Governor. Jack Conway (D) elected Attorney General.
Arkansas Ballot Measure- A measure known as the Diesel Tax Question/ Arkansas Highway Financing Act of 2011 passed.
Iowa Special Election- Liz Mathis (D) declared winner in SD 18 with 56 percent of the vote. Democrats maintain control of the Iowa state Senate.
Maine Ballot Measure- Same-day voter registration has been reinstated.
Mississippi Ballot Measure- Issue 26 was defeated which would have legally defined "personhood" to begin at fertilization.
New Jersey Legislature- Democrats gain one Assembly seat and retain control of both chambers by a margin of 2-1.
Wisconsin Special Election- Jill Billings (D) wins in Assembly District 95. Republicans retain firm control of the chamber with 59 of the total 99 total seats.
Georgia Special Election- Terry Rogers (R) wins in House District 10 with 61 percent of the vote. The race in House District 25 requires a runoff to be held December 6 leaving Republicans in control of the chamber with 114 of the 180 total seats. The races in Senate Districts 28 and 50 both require a runoff on December 6, 2011.
