Our State Legislative Monitoring service provides year-round, customized intelligence reports on not only pending legislation, but also the discussions, drafts and other activities that may ultimately result in or impact legislation. Other state legislative tracking services just give you a stack of bills, generated by keyword searches. That requires you to read and interpret the substance of hundreds or thousands of pieces of legislation.
And, because legislation is often a product of interim studies and special commissions, traditional state "bill or legislative tracking" misses these critical early "off-session" stages of the legislative process.
In order to track effectively, one must read and understand the context of the legislative changes. And, you need a political analysis in order to focus on viable legislation.
Only Stateside Associates provides the full package -- customized monitoring
based on reading each bill and amendment, political analysis on every bill,
full-text of bills and amendments, and more.
Our State Legislative Monitoring professionals - all former state legislative staff members - identify and monitor legislation for clients by combining an extensive network of contacts in each state, solid knowledge of a client's issues and an intimate familiarity with the legislative processes.

Prospects for the passage of pending bills and emerging issues are assessed via on-going contact with state legislators, legislative staff, governors' staff, executive branch officials, industry association staffs and local issue experts.
Our clients gain the benefit of "first-hand" legislative information combined with sound political analysis - all reported on a timely basis to allow clients to take full advantage of their opportunities in the states and make informed issue management decisions.
